研究報告顯示,每人若每天均能攝取五百毫克兒茶素,對人體腸胃功能、血脂調節及葡萄糖代謝等均有助益,目前已有不少含兒茶素的食品經試驗取得健康食品認證。台灣茶業改良場已將兒茶素加以純化做成膠囊,以及多種含兒茶素的產品。
